The most popular NVQ we offer, is “Plant Operations” which is required in order to upgrade a CPCS or NPORS Red Card to a Blue Card.
This involves a number of visits to your workplace to observe you in a working role on the specific piece(s) of plant
Tip: Aim to register and start your NVQ at least 6 months before your Red Card is due to expire.
Your NVQ will consist of 2 mandatory units, followed by a module corresponding to the category of plant that you require. For Example, if you had a CPCS or NPORS Red Card with 360 Excavator and Forward Tipping Dumper, you would do the 2 mandatory units, plus the 360 Excavator and Forward Tipping Dumper units (4 in total).
